I've had my concerns about Ron DeSantis in the foreign policy arena for a while. His background includes education at Harvard, Yale, and his career in the military includes being stationed at Guantanamo and serving as legal counsel in Fallujah. That alone screams Deep State, and his congressional voting record on foreign policy has cookie cutter neoconservative from shilling for Israel, supporting the Maiden Coup in 2014, and supporting lethal aid passed through Congress going to the Azov Nazis. He's been good as a governor (damn good in fact for roughly 2 years) and has populist tendencies on certain domestic issues. Not on foreign policy. The DeSimps who say he's Trump without the baggage are fooling themselves or grifters. He just shilled to the max for Ukraine and niffed Trump for 'being too soft on Putin'. Jesus Christ, it sounds like he just ripped a line directly out of a Mitt Romney 2012 campaign statement. As much as I despise Obama, he very rightfully mocked Mitt Romney for trying to make out Russia to being a geopolitical foe (only to ironically foster those very destructive policies in the 2nd term eventually creating Russiagate and this destructive cultural Marxist Russophobia). How well did that work out? Mitt Romney got his ass handed. Well, it's official. After what 'Big Ron' DeSantis said today, he's the WRONG CHOICE for 2024. He would get crushed Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin and maybe only get by in Ohio and Iowa. He would probably fall short in Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada, too.
My light Brahma flock with some white Cochins and buff Brahmas in the mix. Older cockbird and 5 hens then a young pair I got from the national poultry show in Columbus, Ohio last month of a different bloodline. I’ve got seven birds (3 cockerels and 4 pullets) that are from my breeding flock hatched in the spring. These are Mark Peterson bloodlines. A fairly new friend of mine who hails from Minnesota (or sometimes Alabama). He retired a year ago and sold his birds off. I managed to get the last two pairs of lights. Later sold the two cockerels but still the older cockbird and hens I got from Mark about 2 years ago in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Trump promised 50+ times to end the Ukraine conflict on the campaign within 48 hours which hasn’t happened yet 11 months into the new administration. Let's say Trump decides to walk away straight up and let Ukraine fight Russia on its own like many in MAGA want. Would the war just suddenly stop? I’m no longer sure that would be the case. The EU are a bunch of crazy fanatics who will do anything to get the United States sucked into a hot war with Russia. They will pull a false flag starting a hot war and Congress will be heavily pushing for US intervention. The moment Donald Trump says no they’ll vote to impeach and convict him (or there’s at least a non-zero chance of that happening). The detours being taken for better or worse on Trump’s part are to avoid getting pinned and blamed for Ukraine’s inevitable collapse. Not saying it’s an ideal path. It’s imperfect and messy to be sure and isn’t nearly as quick as we’d want or was promised (I think Trump genuinely ...
