Here’s the best possible solution Donald Trump could do foreign policy wise. With Israel/Palestine call for an international conference that includes Russia, China, India, Brazil etc. Get on the phone with Xi and Putin. Shut down the military bases everywhere else practically possible and bring home those troops. Get Kim Jong-Un on the phone and sign a peace treaty to officially end the Korean War and start demilitarizing the DMZ as a starting point for reunification of the two Koreas. Get out of Taiwan. The whole China/Taiwan matter shouldn’t be our concern. You know how many military bases China outside its borders? Something like 3. Russia has one. The United States has got nearly a thousand. As a start reduce that number by half. US should immediately I mean IMMEDIATELY start vacating the entire Middle East. March the troops out as Ron Paul says and close the military bases. Especially GTFO of Syria. It’s an unlawful occupation that inflamed tensions with Iran and makes security for Israel more volatile. Frankly the US should reverse its recognition of the Golan Heights. It’s Syrian property and still internationally recognized as such (it’s one of the few Trump administration policies that hasn’t been reversed by Biden along with the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital). Funny that the same people justifying annexing the Golan Heights for Israel are aghast by Crimea and the Donbas being reabsorbed into Russia which have been Russian ethnically and linguistically since at least as long as American independence was recognized by the British. Their separation was facilitated by Bolsheviks so the western shills and Zelensky are ironically advocating the Soviet Union position.

And those in power wish to remain power.
If they cannot do so by consent. They will do so by exclusion to protect their status.
Therefore, the global economic model is becoming less democratic and built on consenting inclusion ( promises of participation) and more authoritarian and built on exclusion (underbelly at the margin for plebs)
